Hi All
made the plunge to build a 737 cockpit in my shed
i have all of the saitek bits which are no use to me when the new cockpit is complete.
The question is does anyone think it is feasible to strip down the saitek bip to have this for the seperate annunciators in the new layout,As this bit of kit can read outputs from fsx and already drive led's i am thinking that this would be a good alternative to having separate cards and doing a bit of programming.

If you want to build a 737, better put your energy to a better use.
First this panel is a generic amd does not cover most 737 functions, then cutting it out (innards included ) will be more complicated than starting fresh.
Just the 737 overhead has about a hundred annunciators.
Some interface cards are a breeze to use, just run wires from the card to the leds, and clicking in a list of functions is not exactly hard programing.

Search and read the forum, you will find useful posts and do not hesitate to ask for help

I agree with Jack.

If you were doing a GA sim, then it may be worth the effort, but not for a 737.
