Title: Resurrecting my Arduino - Quad Aircore Project
Post by: RayS on September 15, 2015, 01:43:58 PM
Due to a server explosion several years ago, I lost all my source code for both the USB API and the Arduino.

...until last night when I discovered a slightly earlier version of the Arduino code which is easily updated. I also made a few youtube videos of the project which has garnered a lot of interest but sadly all those inquiries went unanswered because, lost all the code.

Fast-forward to today: I'm having difficulties sourcing some aircore driver ICs so decided to take another look at my old project....

That board can drive 4 aircores, with room to expand. It can also drive aircores through a full 360-degrees of rotation.

More to come I am sure....

Nice one Ray,
Love the smoothness of Aircores. I have a bunch of them I bought a few years ago
complete with driver chips. I like your approach. Did you do the board yourself?.
Keep us posted as I am really keen.
Thanks
Les

I did the board myself and will be looking at different ways of driving aircores also with the cs8190 chip (The board shown uses cs4122 I think)

Putting it through initial tests after years of collecting dust:
