I've had this overhead that I bought off Diego in Sydney about 3 years back. It's been sitting, waiting patiently, for me to get my digit out and finish it off and mount it in the sim.
I decided to upgrade the existing OC gauges for some Simworld gauges after Mick did a sterling write-up on them some time back.
It was a bitch of a job and took forever to carefully re-mount every gauge and widen out all of the existing holes, but I got it done.
I bought the fabulous Anders Start switches and mounted them in there as well.
So, to cut a long story short, it's almost ready to install in the sim. I am trying to find a few errant led's and I need to mount a crossfeed switch, which Mick has kindly donated to me from Melbourne....onya, Mick!
So, with some time and a little luck, it might be ready to mount in the sim, early next week.
Here's a few pics I took tonight, with almost all the annunciators lit up and the FDS elec panel running.

When that's in, I just have my rear overhead to finish off. It's 90% done as well!

And just to let you know, your elephantair site gave me insight and inspiration when I built my 200degree wrap around screen system.
I used a similar wooden strut option and then attached plaster sheeting to it and then completely finished it off (plaster wise).
Getting a smooth surface took me weeks and choked lungs for months, but the finished product was worth the toil.
I painted the finished surface with ordinary interior roof paint, as suggested by Nat Crea, who is a guru, in that business.
So, thanx for passing on the knowledge and the great visual explanations on your site.

I might need to pick your brain later, when I will be moving towards P3D and multi-visual-computer setup. ;)
