Title: Stijn's B737-800 Simulator Project
Post by: Stijn on December 06, 2015, 05:13:33 AM
With this topic i'd like to keep you guys up to date with my project. I recently posted some pictures of the stuff we had for the project.

Since then we have been working on the interface. Today we got it working as one unit/system. What a wonderfull sight!!

I also uploaded some pictures of the build to get an idea on how we did it.

Cheers

Stijn

Good job on the wiring, looks pro! Have you ever considered wax or nylon string (as seen on real aircraft)? I've just started playing with the stuff, and I am VERY happy with how it comes together. The most obvious advantage is that it won't pinch or chafe wires.

Hi Matt,

I'm familiar with the wax tape. On the real Boeing I also prefer the tape over tie-wraps when possible but  in my application the chance of chafing is minimal.

Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, the chance of chafing in my little Arduino I/O box is slim to none, I just like the look of it. :)
