Hi All.
Not too sure why this is. I have a 'frequency input' issue. I am using:
Opencockpits hardware single seat trainer with their latest CDU V3. Also Prosim & FSX.
All radio freq's can be input through one of the CDU options. I don't have a hardware pedestal so I have the choice of using Prosim's panel software, FSX's ATC window or the CDU option. If I tune 136.02 (BHX Birmingham's ATIS freq) into the Prosim panel COMM radio, it will populate into LSK 1 left COMM freq on the CDU screen. It will also populate into the CDU screen if I tune into ATIS through FSX's ATC window. However, if I enter the freq into the CDU's scratch pad & press LSK 1 left (COMM 1) I get an error message in the scratch pad 'Invalid Entry' ... All other freq's entered into the scratch pad (Nav's XPND ect) work fine. :-\
Any ideas why? Thanks
Isn't Birmingham 136.025? does the CDU let you put all 3 digits after the decimal? I wonder if it is an error in the database for the cdu. Almost like it isn't finding a match. Bizzare.

Hi Trev.
Yes it is 136.025. I have tried both .02 & .025 but neither work. When it populates from the Prosim comm panel or FSX ATC it enters as 136.02 and will then tune into ATIS.. I can't see why the CDU will accept a software entry but not a manual entry ... defo bizzare.
Ian.
Is there an option in the ProSim config menu that you have to check off for manual entry?

I'm not too sure to be honest ... I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.
