I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but I've found that the best way to complete those small projects that "...you'll get to sometime" is to have your pilot friends come over for a day to fly.
So far, in 2 weeks prep time I've added:
Reverse thrust capability on the throttle levers
Better secured the center console
Added side windows
Added subwoofer
Added PTT on co-pilot side
Added/programmed lower Warning light panel
Added "World Traffic 2.2" (And going to remove it because I don't see any traffic whatsoever from this plugin so it's coming back out.)
Added new scenery for KVNY / KLAS / KPSP / KSNA
Converted PTT switch to work with PilotEdge
Added Hall-effect sensors for throttles
It's like cleaning house right before a dinner party or something....
That is exactly what it takes to get motivated when you get stuck! I did that a few times last winter and it really helped to get things rolling.
