Title: Suggestions For Wiring Test Lights Switch
Post by: flightman49 on May 06, 2016, 01:55:29 PM
On the 737 there is a Test Lights switch on the MIP. It is used to test all the gauge lights in the cockpit. When using this switch all the lights come on. I'm having a hard time figuring  how to go about wiring this switch. It will involve having over 100 led lights coming on at the same time. That's a lot of volts and amps. Any suggestions is appreciated,

The light test is a function of your avionics program.
The switch talks to the interface card like any other switch and the logic tells the card to switch every annunciator ON from their own connection.
No big load on the switch.
