Title: An update on my cockpit
Post by: mswift on July 19, 2016, 07:50:38 AM
Hi all
It's been quite a while since I last posted anything but thought I would just say hi and let you know how I'm getting on with my cockpit.
The MIP is just about complete structurally, the displays including both CDU's have been configured and run ok in Prosim.
The throttle quadrant runs ok in FSX but still to configure in Prosim.
I am just about to start wiring everything up using Opencockpits IO boards connected to Prosim so that should be fun.
Halfway through making the glarewings which are turning out great.
Bought a couple of seats from a camper van which after putting on a base, cover with sheepskin and a harness should look the part at a fraction of the cost of a replica seat, God forbid a real seat !!!!
Hope you like the photos.
Mike

Just done a test of connecting a switch using a Pokeys56U board to Prosim737 and FSX.
I simply used the switch to turn the Logo light on and off.
Great....it works a treat.
So simple to do, literally seconds and the board allows for 55 such connections either input or output.
So I can now start connecting all the switches on my MIP.
