Title: Checking in
Post by: fsaviator on September 20, 2016, 01:04:42 PM
Hey everyone!  Trevor PMed me and I realized that I had kind of dropped off the face of the earth.  Those that have been around a while know that happens from time to time when I get busy with work so I figured I'd drop by and say hi.

I've been away on business for about three months with another three months go go and so busy that I haven't had time to think about simming.  Since moving back to the US I've been traveling a lot and the sim is still packed up and in the garage and I truthfully don't know if I'll get it back together before I end up moving again in the summer of 2018.

As much as I was hoping I'd be back in the US for worldflight this year it doesn't look like I will make it.  I'm planning early for next year and based on the projections I should be able to break away.

I'm flying back to the US for some business this weekend though and I have booked 1.5 hours in the 737 at Frankfurt Airport during my layover on Saturday to tide me over.

So, if someone wants to ride in the right seat meet me at the JOFFI Simulator-Zentrum im Flughafen Frankfurt Saturday morning at 0800!!  It's in the overpass between Terminal 1 and the ICE-Fernbahnhof/The Squaire.  PM me.

It is great to see someone as chipper as you Warren considering the crappy situation you have to be in.  But I think I speak for all of us when I say "WE ALL APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING OVER THERE"

As jack said, Keep you butt safe, and enjoy your time off.

See you soon.

Thanks guys.  I appreciate it.

Jack, sounds good.  We'll work on that when I get back home at the end of the year!

I'll post pics of the Frankfurt Sim tomorrow.
