Hello Marco!
Congratulation for your simulator and website!
I had a quick stopover on your site, need to watch the video tomorrow!
Have fun with your sim, and best regards from Vienna!
Hans
loverly ... I think your 74 build is impressive very well done are you using PSX for your avionics suite ?
Thank you very much Hans! You have a very nice setup too, and how did you manage to get all those REAL components? You are going to have a really nice cockpit once finished. All the best to you. Marco

Thank you Bernard!! Yes I am a happy camper now, but boy how much work - and how many jig-saw blades and boxes of drywall screws I went through, LOL!
As far as my avionics, no, mine is actually a highly customised fs9 setup - pretty well everything in it has been changed other than the framework. I build my own panels in FSPanel, and most my gauges are from fsx. But since you mentioned it, is PSX something you recommend? What I am really (really) interested in is a ND gauge able to display weather and/or traffic and/or legs. Do you know if there is such a thing for fs9?
Much appreciated. Marco ;D
Hi Marco,
thanks :D Like you I am working hard on my setup ... killing some blades ... and collected lot of genuine parts over the last years! Lot of search and research. Actually I'm working on the sidewalls and rudder housing. Another huge task: finding a suitable and affordable overhead panel!
PSX is THE software simulating the systems and displays of the B 747-400. There is connectivity to FSX or P3D. Updates and support are second to none!
Best regards
Hans
I fully understand ..not that I work with wood ..(it just hates,me ) my support structure alone is about 7000 lbs I would guess maybe 15000 ft of wire and rivets omg rivets lol .. so in my case drill bits are the biggest consumable ...in regards to PSX .. if you are a technical flyer then PSX is the "only"way forward

Thank you Bernard. So I checked PSX and two things are immediately apparent. 1) it does not work with FS9, and 2) it is waaaaaaaaay too technical for my taste. I like an avionics set that looks good and complete - but by gosh I do not want to spend 1 hour prepping the plane before I can fly. That said, mine is a unique situation, My FS9 is so customised, it has so many custom airports, so much money invested and last but not least - it runs so well, that I am having a really hard time letting go of it. 3 times I have bought and installed P3D over the years, but once installed - for starters it does not perform not even half as good as my FS9, and second it does not really look that much better if at all. So, I am wating for something really special - which will leave all of the existing sims in the dust, radically different and with full modern hardware support. And so I am stuck for now - buit a good "stuck" I am very happy with the way my sim looks and feels - and that is the way it should be ---- as long as you're happy, don't change it!! 8)
Marco.
Looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing
