Title: PMDG Question
Post by: Atomic_Sheep on November 08, 2016, 08:15:44 AM
Is it somehow possible to get raw data from PMDG planes to display instruments? If the PMDG plane doesn't have 2d panels and only a 3d cockpit, does raw data for it exist somewhere in the background?

That's what I thought. I read something about a panel.cfg file and all of a suddent it made me think there was something I missed last time I looked at the problem.

Are you asking if you can output PMDG Data to run physical instruments? For a home cockpit?
If so, you need to study here:

https://phpjj.wordpress.com/pmdg-data-and-events-server/

This is revolutionary for all PMDG homebuilds.

Looks like you're limited to just the 777 and the 737 at least for now. Thanks for the link though. I'll keep a look out for future developments in this area.
