Here is a short video of me bringing the 73 to life.... Now to just get these little nagging issues taken care of.

Really nice cockpit, OEM throttle! :)
I think the MIP monitors look awesome. I wish we see a good 737-800 MAX simulation in x-plane soon. Would be much easier/cheaper to replicate than the NG or the Classics.
OEM throttle? lol.. No, but I am happy to have it. A few issues I need to solve with it though. I have done a little more work on the sim BUT.... I am waiting delivery, today, of a Nvidia GTX 1070. Hoping for better frame rates so some of the work I have done on the sim looks better! More to follow...
Awesome!!!!!
Great Video Bob. You're cockpit is coming along nicely..and you've reached the point where it's flyable. Huge milestone :) I really like those side monitor views but I think I'd have to go wideview using SE as I think the FPS would bog me down bad otherwise. What kind of FPS are you achieving with the front and two side views?
I borrowed a small projector last week and tried the big screen. The immersion with the big screen was great..but the clarity was really poor and I found it hard to read small writing. Perhaps a better projector would do better but I have no way at the moment of borrowing a bigger unit.
I'm sort of leaning to two large size monitors out front as well..but I'm back and forth between monitors and projectors steady. The side views would be so handy for looking left and right when on taxi.
All the Best,
Ed
Without starting a debate, TVs can be used in broad daylight but
projectors need a dark room.
A single HD short throw projector gives a crisp enough image (IMHO) and a very nice immersion factor without compromising FPS.
Endless trade-offs
