Title: BAe146 simpit instructors panel
Post by: Mach7 on January 22, 2017, 07:32:32 AM
Just a few pics of my instructors panel. I have about 10 percent of the switches connected up to the simulator so far, (engine fail, fire, apu cautions etc etc).

That's impressive...  Lots of work involved in that.  Great Job and thanks for sharing.

Here is a link for switch type;

I actually purchased the 19mm switches, they come in two types. momentary reset and latching.

All my IO boards are completed, so these switch outputs will go in wiring harness sections to the front and back of the simulator for operation.

On most, they will all use a common ground daisy chained on each switch ground pin to provide a single output, that way I only have a single wire from each switch to close the respective contact.

I am not soldering the wires to the switches, but rather using terminal connectors that slide and lock on the back of the pin(s).
