Hey Everyone,
I just found two Elite Flight Simulators with PFC Gear on Public Surplus, located in Florida. These things are amazing! Unlike the Cockpit Trainer from my last post, these Elite are FAA certified for basic training. One is a two seater and the other is a single seat. Currently, they have 8 days to go on the auctions...
There are two seperate links; one for each auction:

As before, I am not a part of or employee of Publc Surplus. I just post links to their items.
Hey Sam, this looks to be in your state...could be used for pilots down for World Flight, when they're not in the 737. ????

The seats alone are worth the money.
For that vintage hardware would be all serial connection so you would have to upgrade the interface to USB for a modern computer, but that is not a big deal.
Very economical way for someone with limited funds to have the basis for a desk trainer simulator.

Hey John, that's a bargain! thanks for the link!
The PFC stuff alone is worth $$$$
Just to let everyone know, these items have two auction days left and it appears the single seater broke the reserve price at $1,000. The two seater has not hit reserve yet, but I am guessing $2,000 is the reserve price.
I hope someone from Cockpit Builders buys these items, they're such a great deal...

anyone know how I can block the Public Surplus site from BlueSkyDriver? I really don't want to build another shed for more toys this summer. :)
HEY! Wait a minute, I am not buying it for me, but trying to encourage other members to get these items...lol...Karen is so funny. Then again, we could use another shed...hahaha ????????
As for the sims listed, they have 3 hours to go and the dual seater is at $1,259.56 and surpassed the reserve limit. However, the single seater is at $2,125 and still has not surpassed the reserve, which doesn't make sense because it's only the single seater. I would think it'd be the other way around.

PS. I know I advocate Public Surplus a lot, but it's because there are so many great deals on there! I've purchased many items that had nothing wrong them for mere pennies on the dollar. My most recent purchase was 4 Dell T7500 Workstations with dual quad Xeons (8 cores) and Nvidia Quadro Cards; the computers were used for 3d Animation and Video Editing. Total cost for all four computers $750. I put the Adobe Suites on two, DragonFrame Stop Motion Software on one and Acid Music Studio (Audio Editing) on the last one.
Plus, the cool part is I could use all four of these as well for my simulator by switching out the boards, ram, processors and video cards, as the boxes themselves are setup for high heat output, thus a lot of fans and etc are already there.
The best way to look at Public Surplus is search for your home state first, then search the rest of the country. I've found if it's in my home state, I am more likely too bid as opposed to something across the country, but if it's something I or Karen (yeah she has bidded on things or had me do it for her...lol) really wanted, I would drive to wherever to get it... So, check the site out ????
