(You also asked how I knew the pressure gauge was of the smaller 2 1/4 variety. The pics on eBay showed that the ports on the back took up all the real-estate on the gauge. If it was a larger gauge, there would be more real-estate and the ports would appear smaller)

Good choice. Although a "Real Trooper" would rebuild his MIP to accommodate them. Ha ha ha
