Gents, (mainly Bernard as he is another OEM nut :)
I need to find out the current rating of the auto speed brake actuator circuit on the 747-400.
I have no 744 docs at all, and although i can find pics of the overhead breakers, none are clear enough to make out the rating on the CB itself.
I tried using a clamp meter to read how much it draws, but it works too quickly for a stable reading, plus the internal brake function throws the reading out when it it stops.
I just want to make sure the power supply I order will be big enough, but no too big as it will only be powering this actuator, and will be isolated from the other 28v supplies in the sim as this actuator is quite dirty electrically.
Cheers!
7.5 for AUTO and 2.5 for FLT DETENT ...short answer no waffle ????
Cheers mate, 10 amp supply it is then ;)
