Title: Wire gauge?
Post by: Marco ERJ on May 24, 2017, 01:05:51 PM
Hi everyone,

Started planning the wiring of the individual modules (starting with the overhead) to the PoKeys and FDS-SYS and backlighting boards. Wondering what wire types and gauges everyone is using to connect their parts to the interface boards. I am planning on running harnesses from each module to the SYS boards which would be located in a centralized location (hoping that will make interfacing easier). Any and all input on what others have been doing in this area would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!

Marco

Oh, awesome thread! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Jack!
I couldn't find that on my own (but then again it feels like I can NEVER find what I'm looking for...). May be time to stop building and learn to use the search feature on the site!

Thanks again so much!

No prob
Enjoy the Syscard 8+1 wiring . piece of cake.
Make sure to get stranded wire and keep the FDS color coding
You may search Remington Industries on EBay they sell a good product (IMHO)
