Hi folks,
I have recently taken the plunge and have started the process of putting together a B737 cockpit and so far I have ordered the MIP, FWD OVHD, Capt MCDU, Liners, TQ, Capt seat, and dual controls for the Rudder and Control Column. In the next phase(probably next year) I will finish the rest of the items like the center pedestal, AFT OVHD, FO seat and MCDU.
In the long run(maybe a year or 2 down the line) I wish(probably WILL) to upgrade to Natvis 200FOV visuals.
In the meantime, I needed advise on the following:
3 HD TV's running at 1080P with a refresh rate of 100HZ
or
3 4k TV's running at UHD with 60Hz refresh rate.
These will be 55" TV's running P3D v3.4 for now until Prosim becomes compatible with P3D v4, then I will switch over in all likelihood.
So the question is, 4K TV with lower refresh rate or HD TV with higher refresh rate?
These TV's are coming in at decent prices and I dont want to spend too much on them as they will be used for a year or two, maximum.

The human eye can not perceive 100 Hz rates. There are required for stereo applications, but not for flight simulation.
If you're definitely going to upgrade to our visual system, then get the cheapest
TV's for now.
Like Jim said, high refresh rates like 100Hz is not "better" for flight simulation,
probably the opposite...resolution and fluidity is more important.

Thank you so much for your replies. That helps me make my decision and I will go for the 4K TV's as advised.
