I have purchased an old Simkits flap gauge. The gauge is setup, I can calibrate it. I run the TRC Link v3 and it says it is connected to P3D but when my flaps move it does not. What am I missing. This is obviously user error...
Hi Bob,
I don't think you use the TRC software. If i recall correctly, the one you want is called Simkits.
I'm not at home right now so I can't tell you for sure.
Is anyone using this gauge with P3D v4? I still have not heard from Simkits....
Sander from TRC was positive about using it with V4 64bits with that driver

Yup, and I included that email with my question to them. But as of now, I have still not heard anything from them.
Hi Bob,
Back home now. I remember it taking me awhile to figure out which drivers to use as the documentation for these gauges is poor.
The exe file that I use is USBFSUIPCLink.exe
There is also USBFSXLink.exe in the directory which I'm assuming uses Sim Connect.
I'm still using FSX though, not P3D.
I will have to look at these. I only see TRCLink....
I believe they are in the same folder that the calibration exe is in.
