Title: WideTraffic 64 bit Opimizing ?
Post by: brianwilliamson on April 01, 2018, 03:55:15 PM
Has anyone tried to do the AI aircraft optimizing  performance in Wide Traffic 64, which is on page 18.

Ok I get the bit about changing the "normal=" to "Veh_Land_Car_Transparent" in the model.cfg alright. But then the next part has me confused where it states " renaming it as specified into "model=" statement.

Does that mean that you would paste the Veh_Land_Car_Transparent.mdl to the model folder and then rename it to the .mdl file that is already in the Model folder and then delete that original .mdl file ??

As he stated it is complex, as well as hard to understand !!

That's what I take from it. But you could also add to the aircraft config file another variation and point to the new mdl file.

Just a thought. I haven't tried this but save you from removing the existing mdl file.

Thanks Trev.
I was hopeful that someone may have tried it out, as it is a long process and to do it incorrectly would be a pain to put it mildly !

Anyhow we will see if some of the chaps may have tried it out at some stage.
