Title: fS9 FSX question
Post by: Mach7 on April 06, 2018, 07:56:21 AM
Hello All,

I am currently running FS9 in my project.

I am finding that a lot of utility add-on's such as Accu feel etc etc are not compatible with fs9.

My question is this.

Could I have a copy of FSX and FS9 on my computer and run them as separate programs? That is to say, I could launch fs9 and run my sim under that unbrella, or the next day fire up FSX and run that under  that umbrella?

If I could do this, I could begin a slow migration to fsx without losing any  of my setups in fs9.

Thanks

Yes you can install both versions on the same machine.

James

If you are migrating anyhow consider moving straight to P3D....it runs much better than FSX and has more to offer!  Can also run side-by-side with FS9.
