I've been hanging out for a very long time for a reasonably priced 737 captains seat but you just can't get them unless you are willing to pay £1000+.
I remember a few years ago some had built one out of wood. Do you know how this is done? Are there any plans anywhere?
If I build it where would I get the seat cushions from etc?

Thanks Jack. Very useful.
Any ideas where to get the cushions and covers from?
