Hi guys ive just got a new pc with windows 10 i would like to migrate from fs9 to FSX steam but every time i hit fly now in steam my pc crashes to blue screen. useing google it seems that windows 10 is not compatible with fsx steam. Just wondered if any one here is running fsxsteam on windows 10, Kind regards Ken
Hey Ken. I am sure steam will run on Windows 10. I will suggest though. Steam isn't that different then FSX you may want to check the steam forums.
Worst off regarding steam you have to deal with all their advertising BS.
You may want to look at Lockheed Martin Prepar3D.
This may help although I agree with Trevor, P3D is definitely worth a look:

The blue screen stop code may help narrow down the problem.

Thanks Trevor and Paul for your quick response, at work at the moment will have look tomorrow
rgds Ken
Steam SE is most definitely compatible with Windows 10. I've been using it for some years now. SE version is far better than FSX boxed as SE version has many of the FSX bugs repaired. There must be something else causing the crash.
Thanks for the help guys. All working now, seems Admin errors
