I just made a stupid misstake of putting 26V on 5V backlight on my OEM bleed air panel! =(
It lit up really bright and now its nothing when connecting my 5V to it.
I guess i fried all the bulbs! Do i need to solder them or how do you replace these bulbs?
any one have a good reference to change them?
Ok,
I removed the liggtplate and opened it.
I just had the 26V lighting on for 1sec.
All bulbs work (pheeew) but there is bad contac somewhere.
Can anyone spot any fault with this connection?
I can get lighting when putting the cables against the contact but it is really glitchy.
Did i destroy / melt anything when putting on the 26V?
its definently the contact between the metalplate and the liggtplate thats not works good.
If i put cables direct on the lightplate it works.
I have other panels that glitches.
Anyone had problems with this type of connector and what did you do to solve it?
Glitchy as hell.
If i tighten the two upper screws on the lightplate it stops working, and if the panel is slightly loose it works...
Any tip is welcome! :)
It was the ground terminal connector!!!
Problem solved! :)
Wonder how many hours i destroyed on the bulbs when putting on 26V for 1sec? :(
One more panel that it lit up! :)
Wonder if i change all the bulbs in the future the color of the backlight will be matching 100%?
Some panel has more dark red and other more bright yellow.
Looking good Kurt!
