So it's been an age since I posted but saw Mike Shericks F-18 sim post and some other old friends posting so thought I would drop a line. I am sitting in Las Cruces, NM after paying a nice annual "sim weekend" visit to Mike with some of our friends including FredK whom you all know as well. As for me, I finally have my 737-800 back up and flying and have been testing lately with MSFS2024 with success. I also as Mike mentioned in another post...built an F-18 DCS simulator. I also have built a Cirrus SR-22 simulator for instrument proficiency training for real world flying. On that note, two years ago I began flying in the real world again after passing a flight review and am working on my instrument rating. I bought a 1998 Cessna 182S and rebuilt the panel with all new Garmin Avionics. It is really state of the art. I am working on my actual instrument rating which I hope to finish up by late spring early summer. Attached are some recent pictures.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Amazing pictures
Your sims are great but the Cessna is a top toy !!!
Happy to see you enjoying real flights.
I did not renew my medical this year, not that I would fail but old age is kicking in and my sim is good enough. Besides I'm no danger for anyone in the 737 ! :D
One may notice that the tail number is different on the two 182 pictures. Just letting folks know it is the same plane. It was N290HT when I bought it but I changed the tail number to N846LC. Thought I would point that out in case anyone was wondering. It is a great plane to fly!

Nice!
Nice plane Scott, and tidy hangar. I wish ours was that clean.
182's are great, and good job on the panel upgrade. Is that a G500 panel?
I bought a share in a TR182 a few years ago, and we upgraded the panel to a G3x based system. Just wish I had time to fly these days. (https://www.amazon.ca/photos/share/ncteVgu2UT6XBcim8vCzXKUconySRqGSQducGULdou1)

Hello Kyle,
That is a very nice panel setup on your TR182RG! We owned a Cessna TR182RG years ago. It was a great aircraft. Maintenance on the Turbo and Gear were high, but overall, it was a wonderful aircraft.
