Hello everyone,

I would like to briefly introduce AEROIO to the community — a project that might be interesting for many home cockpit builders here.

AEROIO is a fully modular hardware and software system for flight simulation, designed for users who want to avoid complex setup procedures, configuration files, or programming. The goal is to provide true Plug&Play functionality — no mapping, no scripts, no coding required.

The system is developed cross-platform, with Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) currently being the primary target, but it is structurally designed to support other platforms (Prepar3D, X-Plane, and more) as well. The focus is on long-term scalability.

Key features of AEROIO:
- Modular hardware units with fixed terminal blocks (example: Parking Brake LED = Terminal 5, TQ    Motor Control incl. Force Feedback = Terminal 20)

- Automatic module detection by the software (hardware IDs are fully self-identifying)

- Complete integration of motorized components (e.g. full 737 Throttle Quadrant incl. motorized Speedbrake, motorized Trim Wheel, motorized Throttles with full Force Feedback)

No manual assignments or software mapping required

Designed for both casual home cockpit builders and advanced sim users who want a stable, scalable architecture

Long-term support for multiple simulation platforms

We are currently in the internal development and test phase.
In parallel, we are actively building up a small early community and are already starting with initial beta tester recruitment.
