Title: Farewell to my 737-800 Sim
Post by: sagrada737 on August 09, 2026, 08:20:59 AM
Hello All,

After about 10 years building and flying my FDS based 737-800 Sim, I have decided to donate the Sim to an Aero Club in Chicago.  The intent is to help the aero club in their efforts to inspire future aviators.

I have greatly enjoyed the building process, and the fellowship that this Forum has offered.  I will retain my DCS based F-18 Sim project, which is a blast to fly, offering a never ending learning curve to fly an F-18 and learn its systems.  Photos below of my Sims...

As an aside...  I am now engaged in restoring classic British motorcycles -- namely the 500cc Velocette Venom and Thruxton models.  These bikes have their own brand of complexity.  Photo below...

Best wishes to all.  Happy Sim building!
