Online chit chat function

Ever since we got hit with this and that I always think when you guys are going to bring the live chat back up again. I kind of miss it as I remember a small few of us used to have a bit of craic on it and talk about other stuff that wouldn't be a "Create Thread" solution.

Either way, I am just wondering about the chat.

Added a Chat Bar at the bottom of your Explorer window.  Click on the who's online page and select a name and type to them.  Just like that...

Let me know what you guys think..

The Envelope icon takes you to your private messages, and the house brings you to the homepage.

Hope this will be a good addition.

Thanks for your reply to the matter that I was on about, but I meant the old "IRC Chatroom"  or did cause a problem or something.

Until this weekend, it was thought that it may have been a contributing factor to our (Call them issues) However We now know what the cause was and I would be happy to bring back the IRC Chat for group sessions..  (If your into the group thing that is) LOL.  I Just have to get the link back from Bob.

Unfortunately there is more to it then that. It was not being used so it was one of the things we did not move from the old server. We have talked about putting it back up though. Since there seems to be an interast I will see about getting it back up. In the meantime there is a chat in place that can be used.

If you guys are interested, I can open up an IRC server on the machine I run my BBS on (Synchronet has a built in IRC server) and you can just point irc.cockpitbuilders.com to that address.
