Hello guys I was wondering if anyone here owns a COLE start switch that has 5 positions instead of 4. I ask cause I own one of those and I am building 767 which uses 5 positions one and maybe someone of you have the other...In case you have, I can trade it with COLE 4 position one from a 737 overhead, perfectly workin. In case just reply here or send me a PM, thanks!! :)

These 5 position switches can easily be modified to a 4 position switch also.
The ones I have in my sim is 5 position ones, which I modified.

basically you need to open up the switch, and stick something in there to block pos 5.
And also you need to modify the "cam" to make sure it will not trigger two positions at the same time.

I have pictures if you need...

EDIT: When Ivar is not reading the post properly, he replies something different than what was asked, hehe. I leave it written in case anyone else neds to know...  :idiot:

Gallie

Could you be more specific?

The switches i own have 4 micro switches inside and a total of 5 positions including the off position (GRD, OFF, CONT, FLT, and a unused position).

You can use software to work the OFF position and only use the 4 positions you have. No need to change anything.
