Can someone advise how I connect a 12V floodlight mounted in my Overhead to the Flood Pot on the CPFlight Lighting panel in my pedestal?

I'm leery of connecting it inline with 12VDC as I do not know if it is connected to anything within the card/pedestal/CPflight interface.

I've also emailed CPFlight, but figured I'd try here too.

Thanks,

Warren,

That's a great question. I am interested in an answer, too. Would be also pretty cool to use it for additional pedestal panels...

Cheers,

Andreas

PS: When do you go back to the U.S., was it this year?

Andreas,

according to Claudio at CPFlight (and Bruce on the Prosim forum), the pot is only connected to the screw terminal posts, not any of the electronics in the card.

You can connect that pot to a dimmer (such as the chinese dimmer that can be found online) and in turn connect your flood light to that.

I head back to the US in the summer of 2016.
