Most of you know how much I brag about http://ruscool.blogspot.com/ but I think this warrants another plug.

Last month I started talks with Dean at Ruscool about making an Avidyne DFC90 autopilot head. eBay had nothing below $10,000 so I was basically a motivated buyer.

After some discussion we agreed on a price point and design/construction began.

I just received today the final product images and I am happy to report that I'm blown away at what they did. Not only building the product according to Avidyne specifications, but adding a pcb layer, to include illuminated buttons that they custom-sourced to model after the genuine Avidyne unit.

It's... beautiful.... :-)

Pictures... Check it!

Ray,
I to are blown away what John and Dean do when I walk into their workshop.
I have seen a lot of stuff for O/seas customers and it just seems nothing they can not
do.
