Next month I will be doing a presentation on Cockpitbuilding as a hobby to the Model Railroad Club in my community. I figure that the subject matter would be of interest to these guys, and I am hoping to plant some seeds of interest in moving a few of these guys in our direction.

I will be doing a PowerPoint presentation about an hour long.  It will cover what our hobby is (and is not), some of the history, and will get into the details of the various aspects of cockpitbuilding.  I will be using many photos and videos.

In this regard I am looking for a particular photo that I am strangely having a difficult time finding considering all the thousands of cockpit photos out there....

I am looking for a specific photo that captures the complete essence of an ultimate quality cockpit build...that is, in a single photo. Specifically...what I am looking for is a photo that shows a panoramic perspective of (1) the cockpit shell, (2) curved screen (or other) visuals, and (3) cockpit interior.....all in one photo. The photo has to be of a high quality cockpit project.

I want to use this photo at the beginning of my presentation to set the stage of what I will be talking about (a picture is worth a thousand words).  I am not interested in pictures of just cockpit shells or curved screen visuals or cockpit interiors etc. by themselves...I have plenty to choose from there and will cover those aspects individually.

I know I have seen such photos, but I just can't put my finger on it.  For example, it would be helpful if someone could direct me to project websites or blogs that may demonstrate such.

Thanks,

Fred K

Fred,

Don't forget to troll "Mikes Flightdeck", Ian Sussions 737 co uk website. You may be able to find the image your looking for on one of those sites.

FSC have a lot of high quality pics on their site for their turnkey simulators, maybe something there could help?

Hi Fred,

Plenty pics here: (one in particular from "Yokohama A320" set looks like a match)

Many thanks to you guys for helping on this....

My focus on this is to keep the presentation largely within the "home hobby" arena rather than "professional" arena (I realize that there is a fine line of demarkation in many instances)....

Scott....your photos are very helpful in that regard.

Nat....I already have tapped you website for my section on projection visuals and also for demonstrating the quality of present-day scenery.

Thanks again,

Fred K
