CP Flight CDU & PMDG

I was curious if anyone has had any success with getting the cp flight CDU to work with the PMDG. I got the window undocked and placed on the CDU screen. I have added the correct lines in the panel files. I have also changed different configurations with the daisy chains with the mcp pro and efis pro. I know it is making a connection with the MCP/EFIS because when I change backlighting brightness, they are all synced.  I noticed something in the manual that i think may be a typo towards the bottom of the right side. It is basically asking the same thing to change the panel.cfg as it did in the middle column that is highlighted, but it suddenly ends. Not sure if there is in fact one more step that is not stated in the manual and is causing this to not work.
