Hi all,

First of all ,i would like to introduce my self my name is Nathan and i'm from Tasmania Australia.
I Have been building my B737-800 Home cockpit for the last 12 months .I am currently having issues with programming the GPWS Panel (Lower MIP) with FSUIPC 5 As i am currently using Prepar3d Version 4.1.
I have got the switches to work using my BBI-32 bodnar Card with the correct event id's  . But the main issue is they won't work unless i manually click the Missile switch covers up in the Virtual cockpit .is there a way to program FSUIPC to automatically open the switch covers when the switch is flicked on ??

as i plan not to use the VC at all once my Mip and overhead are built .

any help would be most Appreciated .

Kind Regards
Nathan

Which aircraft model are you using..?  I am guessing this is a PMDG Aircraft, and the switch position won't move unless you click the covers first.  very interesting.  I am going to say this is a limitation with the aircraft model your using..  not the fault of FSUIPC.

hi and thanks for the reply

Yes this is the PMDG 737-800 model i am using ,there is a seperate event id for the switch covers ,which is not really realistic if i have to push a seperate button to open them.

You'd need to do a LUA script with FSUIPC.  The script can do the combination sequence: Open the cover, and then press the button.  There are a lot of examples of how to do LUA scripts out there.  Just a matter of time and trial and error to get it working correctly.

Hey Guys,

LUA Script interesting ,I shall do some research and try it out ..

Thanks guys for your assistance ,greatly appreciated  ;D
