Murphys law! Really annoing that my 10k 300degree potentiometer was not enough for my yoke sprocket due to the last 25% outputted 1024 max value.

I need a potentiometer that can turn around like 1,5 turns, max 2 turns.

I have seen a couple with 8-turns but that gives bad resolution. Anyone know where to find one?

I might be able to point you in the right direction. But you said more turns gives bad resolution - actually the more turns the better resolution assuming you have the right gearing set up to drive it. That is, you want the pot to make nearly its full rated turn with full deflection of your control input. The problem becomes when the two are not set up correctly.

Allied Electronics and Grainger are where I buy most of mine.

My gearing is good, its 3:1 ratio i belive. And i have tried to use a high-end 10-turn potentiometer.

Values i get is:

600-605 centerposition still.
570-575 full turn right
625-628 full turn left.

Maybe this is the best i can get?

But i belive if i put a 300 degree pot a right turn will get me values from 1-512, and that is what i mean with better resolution.

i recalibrated it and its a thin line on this one.

it gives absolute max values on each direction, hope it not forces the potentiometer when full yoke deflection left/right.

Keeper for now but if anyone know a good 1,5 turn 10k potentiometer, let me know.

can only find 10-turn...
