Hi all.

I haven't posted on here in a while, but I will be taking pictures and keeping you all updated shortly.

I have ordered the following

737 MIP SET from poldragonet/symulatory - http://www.symul.tatuin.com.pl/strona/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=49&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=56

Phidget card from robotshop - http://www.robotshop.com/phidgets-phidgetled-64-advanced-led-controller.html

Also ordered the following from opencockpits -

1 x ATC 737 module p&p (2M18)
1 x COM 737 module p&p (2M12)
1 x EFIS-737 (mounted & with box) (2M5)
1 x MCP 737NG (without box) (2M2)
1 x NAV 737 module p&p (2M11)
1 x Landing gear lever B737 (MEC-TREN73)
1 x USB servo motors card (2T11)

I have about £180 left to get some more stuff before I have to transfer some more money LOL. Any ideas what else I should buy first as a priority? I'm thinking stuff from abroad that will take a while to arrive.

3 more weeks and I should have an update for you!

Bloody hell Dan you dont mess about!

Well, if it was me i would hold fire on spending spree for now, there will always be things you will need and never thought off, stuff like tools, one assumes that you will be making most of the sub structures from wood?, so a decent drill and jigsaw wont go a mis, screws, paint and allsorts of fixings you will need, then there are electrical stuff you will also need from LED's to Encoders, wires, power supplys LCD's etc..

And its always wise to have some funds in reserve for those emergency Ebay bargains.

If i was you, hold off the shopping spree for now, best bet is to use the delivery time to formulate a plan, you now know exactly whats headding your way in terms of parts, sketch it out, think it through make a plan ask the questions.

I second Phil 100%
AS you wait start building the pedestal box which will integrate your radios.
Dimensions are standard and available.
A simple box which will give you a sample of what will follow.

You have more than enough on your plate now!

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah pedestal I will start on first before my parts arrive. The MIP stand, will build myself, same with the rest really (apart from the physical parts of course).

jackpilot

Do not start the stand before getting the MIP itself.
Hard learned lesson. :D
