I know we cant talk obout the program itself but does anyone else besides me have it installed on their machine??

Yes, I'm also a beta tester. Installed it today, initially tried without a joystick as I was outside but just tried it for an hour with a joystick. I'm keeping a log of my views, opinions, evaluations, etc. to perhaps publish online later. Basically like writing here about the software (which is prohibited) but just at a later date and in one big lump.

By the way, have seen a few beta testers sharing screenshots, opinions and the like on various forums around the internet.

I might be a bit further away from you guys but very well aware what a NDA is and what it entails ;)

I've been approached on several other Turkish aviation/simulation forums by members saying "just give us a hint, game or simulation?" but haven't even commented on that. As I mentioned earlier, I have seen beta testers sharing screenshots and impressions at certain places.

Settled then, this topic to see who we have among us as testers and the other topic that jackpilot created for others to talk about the software.

Well, we can certainly talk about what is already disclosed in various forums.

I happened to be a beta-tester too, but have "resigned" when I, not to my surprise, see that it is really a "arcade game" and not a sim.
Albeit a "sim-looking" arcade game  :'(
It lacks all possibilities for 3rd part add-ons, it is restricted to Hawaii, no SDK will be released  .......

I believe MS has "shoot themselves in the foot" and Flight will not be interesting for flightsimmers like us nor gamers.
So, I will forget all about Flight and continue down the FS9/FSX/"Lockheed-Martin FSX" road as those will ensure that I have descent add-on airports, graphics and two ATC-networks available.

My 10 cents,
Bjorn

There are Young Pilots there are Bold Pilots but no Bold and Old Pilots.

MS does not now, nor never has cared about the cockpit building community. I have commented on this a number of times. The group itself is way too small for any company to care about. Think about it, there is no software written expressly just for us (bar a few specialty pieces, just ask the authors of one of those how many they have sold). MS is aiming at millions in sales not a couple thousand! (ok maybe there 5000 of us now still not a big enough group for them to care) they are counting on the person who buys software on a whim. MS does not care if after that it goes on the shelf. (we all have that shelf of software we dont use. But come on it looks cool.) The cockpit building community has to remember that size does matter and we dont.
