Hi All,

I didn't work with Phidgets cards before (don't have any yet). I can see there are special Phidgets connectors on them and some screw-on connectors ( for example http://www.robotshop.com/phidgets-1018-sensor-interface-2.html ).  Looks like they can be used in parallel.  So, could anybody confirm that I  can  connect the just  the input wires to the card without soldering, or am I supposed to use Phidgets connector cables?

Thanks,
Nick

Maurice

Nick,

The screw-on connections are just for the digital inputs and outputs. The other connectors are for servos, potentiometers etc that require 3 connections. So yes, you do need to get Phidgets connectors for those.
