Was rummaging through some old boxes and found a photo of my very first foray into this hobby.

Was supposed to be modeled after a Lear cockpit but back then we didn't have LCD displays.. only those monstrous CRTs. Thing weighed a ton!

I remember humbler beginnings, would have been early 1980's, my first "pit"was an old bench seat out of the family car under the house with one of these old things as an overhead




that was it, no visuals or controls, powered by 64 bit imagination :)

I used to flick the springs like they were switches.

I must point out that it also doubled as a spaceship sometimes, it just depended whereabouts in imagination land I had to go
