Ok, So I've been a little quiet on this Subject for a while , what with vacations and work ,and family.

But also I was struggling to program, without being able to interact with the EFIS, so I decided to "Master" 3D Printing so I could make
the instrument. This is where I'm up to , I just need to do some wiring  ( and sort out some on screen scaling so the buttons align with the graphics ) I realise the actual instrument only has 4 buttons each side , but I'm also interested in the MFD / map display so I decided to make the first set of hardware capable of supporting both.

This kind of stuff just blows my mind.   10 years ago when I started we were struggling to carve this type of stuff out of solid plastic blocks with cnc routers.....now you print it....and fit with a computer that will fit inside a box for a deck of cards...... :o

I am about to turn 50 in a couple months and my kids are 10.  I just cannot even imagine where technology is going to take them in their lives.

Nice work!
Blown away...
