I thought I could solve this one, but maybe someone has seen this before.
I just upgraded to the latest version of P3D on my host computer. It runs fine, however, when the menu bar is displayed and I click on a menu item, the menu bar repeatedly flashes at a one second interval.
Also - if I display simulation data (using Shift Z), that red line of text flashes at the same rate. And, at night, the nav lights on the aircraft are flashing at the same rate as the menu bar.
I was getting 30+ FPS with the previous version (still in the 3.4 range), now I am down to 17 FPS. But more interestingly - if I pause the sim, the frame rate increases dramatically. I have never seen that before.
It all looks like a video issue, but I have the latest NVidia drivers installed. I turned off all addons and still the same. This is a very vanilla installation running Prosim.  The flashing is there prior to running Prosim.

I welcome any thoughts.
Thanks

Hi Jim,

I don't see any of this with my P3D 3.4.18.19475 on Windows 7-64. However, I run Nvidia drivers 361.43 which I've seen  reported on many forums as more stable with P3D.
