Two new 19" for my PDF and ND. Check before buy

Before i get these two Monitors for my PFD and ND, any inputs on this?

They're pretty cheap but only 1366 resolution, personally I would go for 1920 x 1080 unless that resolution suits your application.

Hm... Good point, i will browse for a pair with higher resolution, then i know i am safe with both size and resolution.

Not all monitors have wide viewing angles. Specially when turned 90 degrees and viewed from the side. I have gone for IPS ones as they have wide angles.

Its pretty hard to find any good ones with high resolution... seems like 22" is the smallest out there.

You are generally going to find this issue in cheaper monitors. I know from experience..

Just scored two 19" 1440x900 screens (used) and one 17" (dont know if it will fit, was looking for 15") for 100$. Worth a try.

That resolution is more than enough for instruments.
The 17" will probably not fit

For the lower DU try to get one of these 4X5 10" on EBay they fit perfectly.

Two 19" firs perfect, the 17" is useless, but will be used as testmonitor, not a 65" directly! Hahahaha

For my setup, once removing the outer frames I used 18.5" (16x9) LCD's for the pilot and co-pilot, a 15" (4x3) for the center, and a 10.5" (4x3) for the lower DU.

The 19" without bezels fitted perfect, it slips between the woodbeam and the frame and fits under my OEM korrys.

I had to mount it upside sown though, but its easier to connect cables this way and i cant imagine this will be a problem. Now i have to make some custom monitorstands.
