Made my first "IBL type" panel (If I may borrow the FDS trademark)
Copper plate, micro bulbs, sent to me a while ago by Scott. Decided to give it a try.
Took me hours!
But my Parking brake panel is done!
Annunciator lights up with test button or Parking brake on.

Do you get a heat problem with the micro bulbs Jack? Being so close to the panel. What bulbs are they? I used all LED's but I'm interested in any other methods of back lighting

Basically the same way real panels are made.
drill a hole 3mm deep /wide , the bulb is so small it has room around in the hole.
Was just a one panel affair as this is the only non IBL panel I have.

Thank you
As it sits by a real IBL , it is easy to see that its far from perfect...but good enough.
Had fun doing it and this is what this hobby is all about...much better than playing Golf under the rain with old farts!
