I am 99% of this answer but i want to check anyway.

When dealing with both 5v and 24v in a circuit i join the negative black cables from each power supply in the circult.

example is a circuitboard i am creating that uses a mosfet fed with 5v for backlight. And also i use 24v for the ULN2803A darlington driver. On the circuitboard i connect both negative together from each PSU and also to my teensy GRND.

My question is that i would like to join the negative on a separate bus so i only got three cables coming in to each panel.

5v+, 24v+ and negative black.

Otherwise i have two negative cables, not that much hazzle but its more simple to just have one.

What do you think?

Not finished but this is the circuitboard i am working on. It will add a 5v mosfet for dimming backlight.

Then all negative cables are joined together.

By the way Rob, if your still selling your curcuitboards i am very interested =)
