Steve W.  and his son Mason came over to fly my sim yesterday and check out the surround visuals. As I expected, Steve was quite impressed by his first experience with surround visuals but I made sure to let him know my current feelings about projectors  ;D

For those who don't know Steve W., Steve has a real 737 nose in his garage and he is planning to use the entire 2 car garage and forget about parking even one car in it; he must have a very understanding wife especially with our miserable Winters.

Anyway, Steve mounted his handy Hero GoPro 3 video camera at the back of the shell and edited the video. His 7 year old son Mason actually hand flew almost the entire climb to cruise altitude and did an amazing job at it following the flight director cues. That's one great future pilot for sure.

Too bad my grand kids live so far from me or I would have found it much harder to part with my simulator. Watching the kids play with it would make keeping it very tempting.
