I am here to tell you about my great customer support from Carenado. I bought their King Air B200 for use in my sim.  I am very glad I did. It is one of the best flying models I have ever used in a sim (I am using X-Plane) and when I ran into an issue they have more then tried to help me. We all know as builders, most of the aircraft we try and incorporate into our sims, is not intended to be used in the way that we try and use it and this software is no different. I explained my problem and to my surprise they came back with several suggestions. They have not solved my problem and probably will not BUT they tried! My issue just has to do with switcholigy and the fact I am trying to use an interface that works with FSUIPC in a non MSFlightsim environment. This is not Carenado's fault! So if you need an aircraft and they have it, BUY IT!!! Give them a visit http://www.carenado.com/

Well I found where I needed to be to fix this issue. It is in XPUIPC, the XPUIPCOffset.cfg file. Now all I have to do is figure out the logic that XPUIPC is using. Getting closer.

Closer yes, but there seems to be another issue.

In FSX anyway, there is no 2D panel, and looks as though the landing lights are behaving like a gauge in the panel, so in the 2D cockpit window where there is no panel, you get no landing or taxi lights.  (That sucks) so even if the lights are on, I don;t see them unless I am in the VC.

"As a gauge" may be right! I may have found a way to turn them all on and off at once I and I will use this but still looking for a better way. My suggestion is to contact Carenado and ask. They are very helpful! They are aware of the building community.

I'd just like to reiterate what Robert said about Carenado. I was having some "switch-ology" issues with the B200 and Daniel worked with me non-stop for a solution.

That, and There's no better aircraft out there for X-Plane. The flight dynamics are incredible. I have since added their B1900 to my hangar and it has quickly become my favorite A/C. Putting on a LOT of engine time on the Hobbs meter!

I've probably flown more this past month than I have in all my other years of simming. (Or "Building", as Robert would correct me. ;-) )
