I've been trying to research the best system for building some panels with. I've researched the Bodnar PPI-32 and the open cockpits boards but I'm sure there is more out there. I want flexibility and low cost. The biggest difference for my purposes between these two is led displays and lights or no. And cost.

I want to build a custom mcp and possibly an efis plus a few basic controls like lights and radios. What options and experiences have you had.

Thanks.

FSX or X-Plane?   Either Arduino based boards or Teensy  Either offer huge bang for buck and are not going to go away.

Flexible cockpit, both X-plane and FSX. Depends on the aircraft and desire to use TC.
