Has anyone found a source for the rubber sheet wrap on the lower MIP?
Picture shows the texture of this vinyl/rubber coated sheet that provides protection for the knees.
Thanks

I used pinchweld, which is normally used in car door frames.
Just mount some aluminium angle at the bottom edge of the lower MIP, and this just pushes on.

The grey is almost identical to the real deal.

My lower panel is actually a half inch thick rounded aluminum with the textured "tape" wrapped around it.  So it needs to be something like the textured tape used in showers and treds of steps.
Thanks,
Jim

Ah , OK.

I used this when I rebuilt my seats, great stuff, and looks almost identical to your sample

Not sure if you can get it over there, but I'd be happy to send some.

I can take some close ups of the texture of you like.
