Just popped by to say Hi!

Haven't been around much since selling my sim a few years ago.

Left Grand Rapids for Cincinnati and GE Systems for GE Engines.  Currently the Military Customer Support Manager for half the Middle East so back to immense travel.

We are still in an apartment, so no room for another sim for awhile.  Hung up my CMEL / CSEL as well.  No time for real flying right now.

I have been still messing with my combat sim stuff and enjoying my time.  Just told Trevor I bought an Oculus Rift and have messed around with VR in XP11, DCS World and Aces High.  If you haven't had a chance to demo VR in a sim yet (Airplane or Racing) find the time.  Its pretty freaking awesome .

I see a lot of new builds going on!  Excellent work and great reading!  Scott seems to be aiming to fill his basement with sims at some point :)

Keep having fun guys!

Thanks Skibo... Great to see you here again.  I am hoping one day when your finished touring the world you will come back to us....  Don't forget when your done and want to come back will will still be here, and we can help you spend some of that hard earned money.

I am hoping I can convince you to join us for Worldflight this year..  regardless if your an engine guy instead of a systems guy..  We likely will need parts for the engines..  you know we like to run them like we stole them aiming for the barber pole the whole time..

Stay in touch,

Trev

It is real good to see you here! This just goes to prove another thread we have going where we talk about trying to get out of the sim world. Would be great to have you back for WF. Always a place for you! And yes we do have a tendency to burn up some engines during the event. lol

LOL John

Good to hear from you!    Yes, I get pretty ambitious sometimes.   Luckily I have a "tolerant" wife (I think "tolerant" is more appropriate than saying "understanding").   I am sure she thinks I am nuts.

I used to do combat with Falcon 4.0 and DCS but been a long time.   I still have a Cougar Hotas collecting dust on the shelf.

Ditto John.

Glad to see you popped in.  We're in the same boat, I guess.  Work keeps getting in the way of play.
