I have been waiting for months for a water cooled version of the new GTX 1080 Ti to be released, and finally they are starting to come to the market.   I just purchased an EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid, and installed it today for initial testing.   In my Sim setup, I have a single computer KabyLake with M.2 running at 4.8 Ghz with P3D and Sim-Avionics on its own computer.  The graphics card drives three Optoma GT1080HD projectors.

Initial testing is positive, but P3D is still very much CPU constrained.   Nonetheless, I found greatly improved scenery updates while flying and very smooth image display on the ground when turning the aircraft in taxi HD scenery.  This new graphics card will really show its colors when a 64 bit version of P3D is released.  In the meantime...   I am happy with the purchase of the GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid, which runs at around 40 degrees C.

Hi Luis,

Yes...   I am driving all three Optoma GT1080HD projectors from the single GTX 1080 Ti card.   I use the Display ports with HDMI adapters to go to each projector.   My warping/Blending software is Pixelwix (OEM supplier for ImmersivePro).
